Seven people were killed and a teenage girl kidnapped on Christmas Eve during a raid attributed to the Islamist armed group Boko Haram and targeting a Christian village near Chibok, in northeastern Nigeria, militiamen and residents said on Wednesday.
Dozens of fighters from trucks and motorcycles attacked the village of Kwarangulum (Borno state) on Tuesday evening, shooting residents as they fled and burning houses after looting food.
